**+ Position Description **
  • Interviews the client regarding their medical, behavioral, and biosocial history or to obtain other pertinent information and evaluate the condition of the client.
  • Works with clients to identify the appropriate program for treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Refers clients to supportive services to supplement treatment and counseling.
  • Coordinates with clients to identify appropriate programs to promote prevention of alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate and timely reports and case histories.
  • Interacts with a client population that is actively intoxicated and/or experiencing symptoms of withdrawal. Provides guidance, safety, stability and direction to these clients.
  • Identifies emergency signals and situations and reacts appropriately
  • Prepares meals and clean up, as necessary
  • Provides clients with their daily schedules
  • Ensures each residential client is accounted for during various wellness checks during the shift.
  • Monitors the facility to ensure it is maintained in an orderly, clean, and safe manner. Ensures that all outside doors remain secured.
  • Practices OSHA safety standards and disposes of biohazard waste according to OSHA standards.
  • Assists in transporting admitted clients to hospital, and other approved services, as directed by clinical staff or Program Coordinator.
  • Effectively responds to the client’s needs and problems.
  • Initiates and maintains positive interactions, timely responses to phone calls, emails and other requests.
  • Adheres to all Recovery Resources policies and procedures.

  • Assisting with the coordination of client care, transportation arrangements, medical appointment reminders, referrals, and preventive care education and/or follow-up care adherence.
  • Assisting with the development of client care plans that reflect individual client’s needs and connecting clients to appropriate resources and developing Master Treatment Plans.
  • Knowledge of de-escalation methods, or the ability to be trained.
  • Must be able to function in a team setting, be flexible in attitude, and desire to work with individuals seeking detoxification.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or written directions.
  • Ability to maintain client and company confidentiality.
**+ Minimum Qualifications **
  • Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associates degree in mental health or addiction treatment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field is preferred, but not required.
  • Current certification in First Aid/CPR preferred.
  • Training in motivational interviewing, a plus.
  • Training in Trauma Informed Care, a plus.
  • Recovery Coach, or Peer Support training, a plus.
  • Experience: Must have at least one year of related experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License, with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be flexible with shift work coverage. No set schedule can be guaranteed.
  • Must be able to work scheduled shifts, to include weekends and holidays as needed, or on a rotating schedule.
  • Refer to updated Time Off Policy to address personal schedule changes, as needed.
  • CAT or CAS preferred
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, reference check, and background check.
  • Must adhere to the company's non-discrimination policy.
