Feeling stuck sucks. Have you ever experienced this feeling, where you’re going through the motions of life but not getting anywhere? Or, maybe you’re stuck in a pattern of negative behavior that’s holding you back, but you just can’t seem to break free of it?

You’re not alone.

I’ve been working with Recovery Resources for over two years now, and feeling “stuck” is the number one thing I talk about with our clients; people just like you who are feeling bogged down by bad habits they can’t shake, and daily struggles that block them from living a fulfilling life. When you’re dealing with this stuff, especially long-term, it’s easy to spiral down into the grips of frustration and hopelessness.

The hopelessness of being stuck is real, and sometimes scary.

I’ve been there too. The “stuck” place is not only frustrating, it can also be downright scary. It can feel really dark there, and definitely very lonely. When I was stuck, I found myself battling anger, resentment, fear and deep insecurity. Why couldn’t I just get my life together? What was wrong with me? All of this negativity became a black cloud that followed me around every day, making it seem impossible for me to feel happy or to gain any sort of positive momentum in my life.

But there wasn’t anything wrong with me…I was just STUCK.

And if you’re feeling stuck, there’s nothing wrong with you either. All you need is that spark of hope and support that empowers you to get your life back on track.

So, what’s the magic spark?

It’s different for everyone! For me, it was the bond of friendship. My best friend was so concerned about me that she intervened and got me connected with a life coach. This coach helped me face down my bad habits and take ownership of my strengths. Once I stepped into my strengths, I felt empowered to take positive steps forward toward the life I wanted. I started to gain pride in small accomplishments. It was a long road, but eventually, I began to build back my confidence and sense of self-worth. I started to feel happy again and believed my life had a purpose. Five years later, I’ve gotten certified as a professional coach as well, so I can help others get unstuck!

What could be your spark? What do you need, right now, to get unstuck?

We know each person has a different spark; your “aha!” moment that turns the page to a new chapter. And we’re here to help you find it! The core mission of our recovery programs is to empower you to get UNSTUCK and to start the journey towards the life you want most. A purposeful, vibrant, joyful life!
